Collaborating with Arne Olsen was an expansive creative experience, one that challenged us to translate boldness, complexity, and raw emotion into a cohesive brand identity. Based in Byron Bay, Arne’s work straddles the line between the naive and the profound, layering playful forms with darker themes and thought-provoking dialogue.
Our goal was to build branding and a digital space that felt just as arresting and unapologetic as the work itself, while still holding room for nuance. The result is a visual identity that complements Arne’s mixed-media paintings without competing with them, allowing his unique voice and artistic presence to shine through.
From the typography to the site structure, every design choice was made with intention: to reflect the depth and contrast of Arne’s practice while capturing the electric energy he brings both to his canvas and to everyday life.
This wasn’t just about showcasing art — it was about honoring the artist behind it. Bold, honest, and unmistakably Arne.
